Client: Romo (Holdings) Ltd

Application Type: Outline Planning Permission

Proposal: Up to 95 dwellings

Brief Description:

Aspbury Planning, acting as agent for the landowner – Romo (Holdings) Limited – has secured a Resolution to Grant Outline Planning Permission (subject to a S106 Planning Obligation), by Newark & Sherwood District Council as Local Planning Authority, for up to 95 dwellings on a site at Rufford Colliery Lane, Rainworth, Nottinghamshire. The Application Site was allocated for employment development, but the Applicant was able to demonstrate that it was not relevant to the commercial market. The proposal also raised complex issues relating vehicular access, ecology, noise and residential amenity, all of which had been overcome by the professional team led by APL, allowing Outline Planning Permission to be safely granted.
