Proposal: Construction of a new mixed-use development comprising a drive thru restaurant and take away (use class E(b)/Sui Generis) and 2 walk in-units (use class E(a), E(b), E(c) and Sui Generis (‘launderettes’ and ‘tanning salon’)) with associated parking, ev parking and landscaping.
Brief description: We have secured planning permission for a new drive thru Greggs and two Class E units which will be occupied by Subway and Tanning Salon. The site will also bring 6 new high speed electric charging points to Bulwell.
The site was formerly the Apollo Hotel/PH which was demolished in 2012. Subsequently the site has been vacant aside for partial use as a hand car wash. The development will regenerate an underused brownfield site, create numerous new jobs and significantly improve the street scene to Hucknall Lane by way of the design and landscaping of the site.
